Glow Stoves Ltd – Terms & Conditions
1. Scope of Work
We provide supply (unless otherwise documented) and installation of wood burning and
multi-fuel stoves. All work will comply with current Building Regulations and industry
standards.
2. Quotes & Pricing
Quotes are valid for 14 days and may change if unforeseen issues or price changes
arise. Additional work outside the original quote will be charged separately.
3. Payments
– A deposit of 25% is required to secure materials and booking.
– All deposits are non-refundable.
– Final balance is due upon completion of the work.
– Late payments may incur additional charges.
– All goods remain property of Glow Stoves Limited until paid for in full.
4. Client Responsibilities
– Ensure clear access and inform us of any structural or safety concerns.
– Ensure the room is cleared of furniture and belongings where possible, and use
furniture covers to protect nearby items from dust or debris.
– Obtain any required permissions.
– Do not use the stove until installation is complete and certified.
5. Warranties
– Manufacturer warranties apply to stoves and flue systems.
– Warranty may be void if the stove is misused or not serviced.
– Natural slate and stone can vary and may show imperfections such blemishes and
chips and can crack over time. These are natural characteristics, not covered under
guarantee and we accept no liability for them.
6. Cancellations
– Deposits are non-refundable. If the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the
scheduled installation date, the cost of any materials already purchased may be
charred in full.

7. Liability
We are fully insured. We are not liable for damage due to pre-existing faults, improper
use, or external factors outside our control.
We are not responsible for any damage to property, furnishing or possessions that have
not been adequately protected or removed from the work area prior to installation.
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time and to refuse or
withdraw from any work where safety, legality, or professional standards may be
compromised.
8. Certification
We will provide relevant HETAS certification upon completion and full payment.
